Student Services

As a community-based school with a strong Dual-Language program and an emphasis on Latino culture, we offer these services:

• All students receive Language Development in both Spanish and English daily based on their level of proficiency
• Arts program integrating Latino culture and incorporating vocal and instrumental music, theater, and dance
• K-6 Academic Program
• Full-Day Kindergarten
• Small Class Sizes
• Strong emphasis on developing students’ math, reading and writing skills
• Yearly home visits conducted by instructional staff to build relationships with families
• After-school academic support and enrichment programming
• Reading Teacher
• Math Teacher
• Special education services also available to eligible students
• English as a Second Language teachers, all working in small groups to provide intervention to students

Meal Service

Breakfast is free for all students and lunch is served daily at free or reduced prices for families who qualify.

Transportation

Transportation is provided to students who live within the St. Paul city limits and to surrounding suburban areas. Parents are also welcome to bring their children to and from school.

Uniforms

All students at ACC are required to wear uniforms (burgundy shirts and khaki pants, skirts, or jumpers) which can be purchased at the school or at local department stores.
