|I studied Accountancy and Finance as majors in college. I also have a Master’s degree in Education. I worked in Manchester, England as a Residential Social Worker and as Personal Adviser. I also have taught English as a second language in Mexico at various levels, from elementary school to college. I have worked in Texas and Minnesota as Spanish Teacher and Assistant Director and Co-Director in early learning centers.
I love to teach. I believe languages open new worlds, and I have a passion for teaching my first language. At ACC I have the opportunity to teach Spanish to both, scholars who already speak the language and need to enhance their skills, and to scholars who are learning Spanish for the first time. I love the enrichment this opportunity provides and I am thrilled to teach and share about Latinoamerican cultures during my lessons.
What inspires me the most about the ACC’s mission is the opportunity to contribute to the formation of bilingual and bi-literal learners. As I said before, I believe languages open new worlds. I love to contribute to furthering my students’ opportunities for college, travel, work and life through learning Spanish language.
