| I graduated from St. Kate’s University in 2014. I taught second grade for two year at West Side Summit Charter School. This is my fourth year at ACC, I started as a math interventionist and this will be my second year teaching fourth grade. I choose to work at ACC because it is the most amazing and welcoming place other than my home. You are truly part of a familia when you work here. Everyone that works here wants to do the best for the scholars. In our mission it states ” advocating Latino cultural values in an environment of “familia” and community.” When you walk into our classrooms you can feel that value instilled in our scholars.
Me gradué en la Universidad de St. Kate en 2014. Enseñé segundo grado durante dos años en la escuela West Side Summit Charter. Este es mi cuarto año en ACC, empecé como intervencionista de matemáticas y este será mi segundo año enseñando cuarto grado. Elijo trabajar en ACC porque es el lugar más maravilloso y acogedor aparte de mi casa. Cuando trabajas aquí, eres realmente parte de una familia. Todos los que trabajan aquí quieren hacer lo mejor para los estudiantes. En nuestra misión dice: “Defender los valores culturales latinos en un ambiente familiar y comunitario”. Cuando entras en nuestras aulas puedes sentir ese valor inculcado en nuestros estudiantes. |
