| This is my 2nd year at ACC as a middle school science teacher, my 15th year teaching overall. In those 15 years I have taught scholars from 2nd through 8th grade in Norfolk, VA and in St. Paul. I choose to work at ACC because I love the sense of familia within this school. There is real teamwork within the teaching staff and the scholars are so wonderful to work with! What inspires me from the ACC mission is that not only do we focus on the academics, but also to make sure that when our scholars leave ACC that we have also worked on helping them to be socially responsible and critical thinkers for the real world.
Este es mi segundo año en ACC como maestra de ciencias de Middle School , y mi 15º año de enseñanza en general. En esos 15 años he enseñado a estudiantes de 2º a 8º grado en Norfolk, VA y en St. Paul. Elijo trabajar en ACC porque me encanta el sentido de familia dentro de esta escuela. Hay un verdadero trabajo de equipo entre el personal y es maravilloso trabajar con los estudiantes. Lo que me inspira de la misión de ACC es que no sólo nos centramos en los académicos, sino también para asegurarse de que cuando nuestros estudiantes salen de ACC que también hemos trabajado en ayudarles a ser socialmente responsables y pensadores críticos para el mundo real. |
